One person's trash is....
another person's TREASURE!
or something like that. When we moved into our "mid century" (54 year old, falling apart farm house) home we found a few vintage treasures that had been left behind.
Like this:
It's been shuffled around and moved from one spot to another for the last 3.5 years. I finally decided it was time to get rid of it. I considered the charitable route of giving it to our local thrift store, but then my greedy side kicked in and I thought, "maybe I could sell this on Ebay and make a LOT of money!!!!"
So the Ebay option won and I sold this fabulous "mid century" round mariner fire extinguisher for the amazing total of ...........

But ten bucks is ten bucks, and as my significant other so wisely said,
"It's better than a kick in the pants."
Why some dude in Austin, Texas wants this extinguisher is beyond me.
But hey! He wants my extinguisher and I want his measly ten bucks, so we're in business.
