programs-R-us
It's that time of year again,
"Programs" at our school.
Last night was Thomas' Patriotic Program.
He started out as an Indian.
Then he turned into a regular kid.
Then he turned into a 50's kid who danced "the swing" with a GIRL!
All in all, it's a very nice program
Nice, but long, 1 hour and 40 minutes long.
I may have been groaning loudly at the 1 hour 30 minute mark because it seemed like it was NEVER going to end.
Then this morning I came right back to the school and watched Aaron's 6th grade "Lip Sync competition"
He and his buddies did "I Have a Dream" from Tangled.
I thought they did a really great job.
The above picture is the scene pictured below.
I had no idea Aaron could be so animated.
(ha ha, animated! I crack myself up.)
Here's a short video of the beginning of their performance:
The end.

I can't believe all the programs put on at your kid's school. Our school doesn't do anything like that. Maybe that means our school is lame or maybe it means I'm lucky--no 1 1/2 hour productions to sit through...
