draper temple
Yesterday we went to the Open House for the new Draper Temple. We brought our friend Eric W. and had an enjoyable time. A few years ago we went to the Newport Beach Temple Open House, but the kids don't remember it very well. Houdini especially liked riding the bus from the Stake Center up to the temple. He kept asking if we were "gonna ride dat gool bus again?!?!" The temple is beautiful.
After the tour, we went to Chuck A Rama for dinner. We haven't eaten there in years. I for one, am not a big fan of buffet dinning, but the kids think it's the greatest. They love the freedom of unlimited choices and unlimited portions. Brick enjoyed his meal thoroughly. He ate half a roll, a scone, 2 slushies and a bowl of frozen yogurt. We probably should have just taken him to 7 -Eleven for dinner, it would have been cheaper. Proto on the other hand, most likely got his money's worth. He ate several plates full of food, then one plate full of dessert choices. He then turned to me and said, "Just one more piece of roast beef and I'll be full!"
In other news, this darling girl is rolling from her back to her belly. Then she lays there and screams because she can't figure out what to do next.
