love
In honor of the day of love I reflect back on things I've loved over the years:
As a kid I loved:
- horses
- mystery books
- bubble gum icecream (my mom hardly ever let us have gum, and this way I thought I was legitimately cheating)
As a teenager I loved:
- an assortment of odd ball boys (the word "love" is a stretch here)
- the independence of driving
- going to the mall
- working at Valley Sports (my first venture into the adult world)
As a college student I loved:
- my assortment of friends, most of whom I met as a Freshman and am still friends with.
- going to BYU, being there was so fun. Classes though, were another story.
- meeting Stick, but not getting married until 5 years later
- late night runs for treats, usually chocolate
- going to the movies at midnight and not thinking a thing of it
As a mother, wife I love:
- always having my favorite person in the world at my side
- the neverending love of my kids, despite my mothering mishaps
