broken

Things that have broken in our house in the last week:

1. Our phone.  (Technically the router that we get Vonage through.)
2. The washing machine.
3. Our big ol' hoopty tv. (Technically it still works as long as the colors red and green aren't important to you.  Blue and yellow are good colors!  You get used to people with grey faces after a while.)
4. My sanity.

How I feel about this:

1. I could live without a phone for.....forever.
2. When I had to hand rinse (in the bathtub no less) approximately 79 items of clothing, I did not like it.  That is one of the reasons I no longer live in Ecuador.
3.  The tv has been getting blurrier and blurrier for a while so I guess this is not a big shock.  I could live without a tv for ......forever......ok, maybe not forever, but a really long time.  I predict the tv will be replaced before forever.  I also predict it will be something big and flat and rhyme with the words pliant stega cat bean*
4.  PMS attack from the dark side.  Consider the words: rabies-cactus-electric eel-rattlesnake-psychotic nutcase.  That pretty much sums it all up.  Fortunately we all survived.  (Barely.)

*giant mega flat screen, duh.

So sorry about all of these things, but especially #4. Yuck-o for everyone. You know what they say, "If mama ain't happy..."

Glad you survived. I hearby prescribe you one big chocolate yummy of your choice. I'm not a doctor, but my SIL is and I'm sure she'd back me up on this one!
