easter picnic 2014

Disclaimer: If you are not part of the Idaho side of my family, you are probably going to want to skip this and the next few posts. We went up to the annual Easter picnic yesterday and I took about a million pictures so that the missionary grandparents, who were not there, could see what happened.  Consider yourself warned.

--------------------------------------

We got up early in the morning and headed to Idaho. I had checked the weather and it was supposed to be cold-ish. My phone said 59 most of the day, maybe getting up to 62. Which is not exactly warm, but pretty normal for the Easter picnic.  I made the kids all wear warm clothes and shoes.

And then when we got there it was warm. Really warm. Warmer than it's been in about 18 years when I went to my very first Easter picnic. My bad. (I'm blaming my phone.)

Just to clarify Stick's outfit...Right before we left to drive up to ID, he got an idea to wear his Grandpa's overalls and a cowboy hat, in memory of him.

Everyone immediately knew who he was "being" and loved it.

After the meal there were several fun "minute to win it" type games.
