the A team

We had two fun visitors last week.

Their mom had a baby (girl!) so they came to our house to stay for a few days.

They're adorable boys.

They're also big city kids.

We did lots of things they don't normally get to do.

Like, watch movies.

Oh wait, they probably do that in the big city....

Play with girls.

( I have now experienced life with twins.  It's crazy.)

( Don't notice the mess in the background--Our family room is under construction....)

Give loves to girls.

This is hard when you've each spent the entire time bugging each other in the forms of verbal abuse- "Mine! Mine! NO!"  and physical abuse- banging each other in the face/head with any available toy.

Life in the two year old world is rough!  Survival of the fittest, to the extreme.

Eat snacks all day every day out of the snack cupboard.

Ride bikes!

Consult (argue) with bossy older cousins.

Say "wheeee!" as you ride down the smallish hill with no pedals!

(They do ride bikes in the big city, but I'm not sure if they say "wheee!")

Jump on a tramp.

Swing.

Jump on a different tramp.

(All the jumping made his belly hurt.)

Eat Popsicles with another cousin.

Be tough "no shirt guys" with yet another cousin (and assorted neighbors).

Watch other cousins (there sure seem to be a lot of cousins) perform in piano recitals and soccer games (no soccer pix, use your imagination).

Quotable quotes:
"I don't have a girlfriend yet, but I'm getting one soon!"
"Houdini was freakin' me out!"
"Why dose guys (lacrosse players) playin' hockey in the grass?"
"Houdini won't stop talking!!!!"
"We don't talk about poop."

Come back anytime boys!
