boot scoot boogie
These are the boots I ordered online last week. I've been anxiously awaiting their arrival. I figure that my bod is mushy, misshapen and overweight, but with these cute boots, at least I'll look good from the knee down!
Imagine my despair today to get an e-mail saying "Sorry these are out of stock, here's your money back." I don't want my money back! I want the boots! Give me the boots!
Tough luck. I guess.
Maybe it's just not meant to be for me to get some boots. Stick got me some for Christmas last year. Being the nice person I am, I made him take them back. The heels were 4" high! While I have recently been converted to "heels", 2 1/2" is my limit. I can only be so much of an amazon woman.
One of my good friends at church is, I kid you not, only 5' tall. We look like Arnold and Danny of the movie "Twins". But not in a good way. She gets to wear boots. Tall boots. In fact I encourage her to wear boots so I don't have to strain my neck so much talking to her.
I guess I'll just stick to my same ol' boring nondescript shoes. Maybe I should turn my distractionary tactics to a pair of brightly colored tights.....

I've been wanting high healed-to the knee-boots for more than a year now. I, as well, want a very specific shoe. I want the heal to be about 2 inches and the toe to be pointed, but not too pointy...maybe square. And i don't want to pay $500...which seems to be the going price..thus I have none.

Look at you, all hip and stuff!
I think I am way to un-hip to wear boots like that.
Hope you find some more!!
