the game

Tonight in the Marriott Center, the biggest basketball game of the year (decade?) will take place.

BYU plays SDSU and they both happen to be ranked in the top 10, nationwide.

We have (had) tickets to the game.

Four tickets.

Four tickets all together, and not in the nosebleed section.

~

We also have Cub Scout Pack Meeting at the exact same time.

Arrrrgh.

Rooney is getting his Arrow of Light award.

Proto is getting his Bear.

Stick realized about a month ago that we were going to have this conflict.

Now, don't get me wrong, we love Cub Scouts around here.

But, the biggest game of the year?

We love that too.

~

After their winning game last Saturday night against Colorado State, the hype began for tonight.

The biggest game of the year.

It occurred to Stick that maybe we could sell our tickets.

~

We perused ksl.com to verify the going price for tickets.

Then, on a whim we listed our tickets for $100 a piece.

Four tickets, $400.

It was approximately 9:50pm.

~

At approximately 9:53, the phone rang .

Sold.

Four tickets, $400.

We had the cash in hand by 10:10 pm.

~

Sweet!

It did make us wonder though, just how much more we could have asked for

four tickets to the biggest game of the year.!

Just to add insult to injury?

We cancelled our Cable TV last week.

We'll be listening to the game on the radio.

"on the radio"...Welcome to my world. No wait, scratch that-- the world of my husband. He listens to them on the radio and watches the play by play on espn.com
