dance man, dance!
Aaron's sixth grade dance festival was yesterday.
All the students were asked to wear a white shirt.
As he was walking out the door yesterday morning, I verified that he had remembered a white shirt.
"Yes mom, it's in my backpack."
Only when I got to the festival did I realize that he took a white t-shirt with a giant "I heart NY" logo".
Nice.
Note to self: Next time verify with your eyes the shirt your child picks to wear to a school production.
As least he was easy to spot in the crowd!
They did a lot of dances, ranging from the Mexican hat dance, to some Israeli (maybe?) line dance to the Macarena to Thriller.
During the Macarena they picked a partner out of the crowd to dance with them, so Aaron came and chose Rebekah. She loved it, and was only a step behind the entire dance. So cute.
I tried to load a short video of it, but our internet is so aggravatingly slow right now, I just had to give up.
Pretend you hear super annoying Macarena music and that these pictures are moving.
Yay, sixth grade dance festival!
