oh yeah, that.
I realized today that I forgot to chronicle one major event in January.
That morning (January 9th) I went to the hospital at dark o'clock and checked in.
A nurse, who while attempting to stick an iv in my arm, proceeded to make me bleed profusely all over the place. (Strangely enough, no bruise, after all that bleeding)
The anesthesiologist, who told me he was going to put me out, and did I have any questions? (I think I might have said, "What if I have to pee while I'm asleep? Please tell me I dreamed that.)
Waking up and thinking first, "Well, I didn't die," and second, "That was the best sleep I've had in about .....ever."
Driving home and feeling every minuscule bump, nook and cranny on the road from the hospital to my house. Ouch. (Major ouch.)
Going to bed till....I don't know?
Not being able to stand up straight for 10 days.
Lawn chair in my shower? Yes, thank you very much.
Then, slowly, slowly, slowly getting back to normal.
All that fuss for a 8 cm ovarian cyst and a fallopian tube.
Who are no longer with me, I might add.
May they rest in peace.
I wouldn't want to forget to document this event, you know, 'cause this silly blog is my only form of journaling, and someday, someday I might actually get it printed. It's only been 6 years of blogging, and 1213 posts. No pressure.
