multi-tasker

Long ago I lost the battle of the "clothes" with this boy. See the shirt he's wearing? On October 31st, it's a costume. The other 364 days of the year it's regular clothes. Not in my personal opinion, but obviously in his, since he wears it approximately 6 days out of 7.

I bought this shirt years ago at DI when I was looking for Halloween costume stuff. It cost a dollar and it's been a favorite ever since. It says "Elway" on the back. We aren't exactly fans of the Broncos or Elway, but for a dollar I figured "why not?".

Little did I know back then that this shirt would become a permanent part of my life. It's been lovingly passed on from Rooney to Proto to Brick and now to Houdini. It's been washed at least a million times and still looks relatively good.

While I am all about recycling clothes I am gonna have to put my foot down if Houdini tries to pass this treasure onto Little Sister.

In case you were wondering how his "potty training" is going, it's going great! Except for that whole "secretly go in the potty but don't tell mom you need to be wiped, then pull up your underwear and proceed with your day" part. It's lovely, trust me.
