our weekend
Friday:
1. Woke up. Took Rachel to DMV to get her Driver's Permit.
2. She passed.
3. Tried not to have a heart attack at the thought of her driving.
4. Went to Grandma A's for a few hours of play and lunch. (The boys had no school.)
5. Came home, packed bags in 20 minutes and jumped back in car for a drive to the other Grandma's house. (Listened to the kids marveling on the ride that they got to see both Grandmas in the same day!)
Saturday:
1. Stick took Rachel driving for the first time ever.
2. Good camera to document this historic event is at home, iPad will have to do.
3. I advise Stick to wear a bike helmet for the event, but he declines.
4. They both come home alive.
5. I ask Rachel, "Why is your face so red?"
6. She says, "I am SWEATING!"
7. (Driving is hard.)
8. Harry experiences miraculous hair growth while visiting Grandma.
9. He also acquires two Box Elder Bugs that he falls immediately in love with, places into a container and promises to hug and kiss and take on walks and feed daily, for forever.
10. The kids have a great time playing in old green truck with assorted sticks that are swiftly fashioned into weapons.
11. A large scale war ensues complete with "Bam Bam Bam" noises.
12. This movie is watched twice (why?!?!?) and much laughing is heard.
13. I plead the fifth as to whether I participated in the laughing or not.....
14. The movie inspires overall goofiness and the miraculous hair growth has become an epidemic.
**Sunday:**1. We get up at O'dark-thirty and drive back home for church where Rachel gives a talk.
2. She does a great job.
3. Yes. The bugs did come home with us.
4. No, the miracle hair did not.
The end.

No wonder...I think I would Die if I had to drive your beast. Um, isn't it time to invest in that normal sized car?

Seriously, if she can drive that tank, she can drive anything. Although I'll side with your sister and beg you to have a normal size car for her to take the driving test in for her real license. Two words: parallel parking!
