wax museum
Proto's school class had their "All About Me" Wax Museum today. Each student brought three things that represented them. Then they were frozen in time! They were not allowed to move or talk. Mr Wax Proto did great until Houdini went up and whispered in his ear. I saw him smile ever so slightly. Other than the smile, I would never have known he was a real live boy. The three objects Proto chose to represent himself were a soap boat he made at pack meeting, a wooden car he got at Cub Scout day camp and a little electronic game called Q20 ( I think). I thought these were rather odd choices, but it wasn't my assignment, so what do I know? The students could also wear a "uniform" of their choice. Proto could have worn his cub scout, soccer or basketball uniform, but he said "no thanks." Again, I do not understand this choice, but I stay out of it. My (secret) opinion was that he wanted to do the assignment with the least amount of work possible, bringing objects that could fit in his pocket. Whatever! If he's happy, I'm happy. (mostly)
