ah, yes, the science fair again
Science fair today. Last year we started working on the project days/weeks ahead of time. This year we said,"pshhaw with all that on-timeness. We are living on the edge! Why not start the project 17 whole hours before it's actually due?! Think how awesome it will be!" So yeah, we started the project yesterday at approximately 2:30 pm and finished at 9:45pm. Yes!
Note to self: While you are in the family room "science projecting", Houdini may just decide he wants to float his toy boat in the sink. Then when he's done, he will simply walk away, unconcerned that the water is still gushing into the sink. The sink that hasn't been draining very well these last few days. The sink that doesn't have one of those hole thingys at the top for excess water.... Eventually the water may begin to gush over the sides of the sink onto the floor..... And then, Hootis who's practicing the piano may hear a "water sound" coming from the bathroom and go to investigate....Yes, the water will now be all over the floor of the bathroom and making it's way into the hallway.... Please remember this for next year.

ahh, yes, I have now been introduced to the science fair.
...as Dill Pickle kept telling us, he "has to do it", we thought, how can a 4th grader "have to do it", that's just silly and really doesn't need that stuff until high school.
...I called the school to ask if it was "required"...it was...daing. :(
We started weeks early. "Volcano"

Yeah, Dill Pickle is actually not the "sporty sporty" as Spoon would like him to be, he likes more; singing, musicals, dancing, etc.
I can see him getting into Drama when he's older!
