Dear Mom
Dear Mom,
Hi! How are you? Did you have fun in Latvia?
Proto had a school program on Friday. The entire 4th grade presented the History of Utah all the way from Brigham Young to David Archuleta!
Mostly it was a group effort, but there were a few individual parts that the kids had to try out for. I was shocked to hear that Proto planned on trying out. Of all our kids, he is the last one I would have guessed to aspire to public performance. But, he auditioned, got the part, and then performed an admirable Philo T. Farnsworth, none other than the inventor of TV!
There were songs on recorder.
Singing.
Dancing the Charleston.
Philo telling about his life and accomplishments.
More dancing and singing.
Proto told me after it was over, "Mom, I could actually feel my heart beating when it was my turn!"
Way to go Philo!

I LOVE his glasses! I think you've got a little Weezer man in training-- I'll also accept Buddy Holly.
