the magical stash
Last night I had my usual 9:30 sugar attack. I told Stick, "Man, I wish we had some chocolate in this house! I really really need some!"
He looks at me and says, "If you could have any chocolate, any kind at all, what would you pick right now?"
Off the top of my head I say, "Uhhh, probably one of those Hershey Symphony Bars with almond and toffee bits in it."
And just like that, he disappears for about 45 seconds and comes back with a Hershey Symphony Almond and Toffee Bar.
Ta DAH!
Is that guy AMAZING or what? For someone who doesn't even eat chocolate (Ever. He can not be tempted. Don't even try.) he has an amazing ability to acquire it right out of thin air.
The magical Symphony Bar trick ranks right up there with an incident a few weeks ago when he drove to 2 different stores solely to get me some Mentholatum. The jar that I've been using for the last 12 years finally ran out. Causing distress to my dry lips in this barren, dry desert we live in. Mentholatum, you know is the only cure. To be applied nightly before snoozing.
So there you have it. Mentholatum and Symphony bars. The keys to my heart. Held by a magician. MY magician.

How lovely, everyday I have a conversation with myself that goes like this,
"hmm, I'm hungry what would soothe me?"
"Yes, I know some lovely chocolate. I'll go get some."
"Dang it! I can't eat chocolate. When will these cravings so away??"
