so tired
Last night I was tired, oh so tired. I told Stick in my best tired voice, "I'm tired." Yesterday I had 4 (four) SEP's (parent teacher conference), 6 loads of laundry, taking kids to and from school/bus, nursing the baby every 3 hours, last minute Birthday prep, Cub Scouts, and the usual 3 meals a day thing. (Although dinner was not exactly prepared, more like warmed up.)
~
I told Stick, "Tomorrow I am going to lie in bed all day and watch a movie while I fold these 6 loads of laundry, including one load from last week that never quite got folded." (I'm having laundry issues lately).
~
Here's how my laying in bed all day has gone so far: I've participated in family scriptures, sung Happy Birthday several times, watched Birthday girl open her presents, took the boys to the bus (raining), took them back home to get the forgotten Valentines box, then back to the bus, made birthday waffles with berries, sewed a drawstring into Birthday Girl's new sweatsuit pants (Miss Skinny Buns), drove kindergartner the bus (still raining), shopped at WalMart for various stuffs, took flowers to the girl I Visit Teach for her birthday, then called her to tell her that the birthday flowers are in the cooler on her porch because she wasn't home, helped my Birthday girl put the finishing touches on a "Faith in God" service project (umm, yes, today is the LAST day),changed 3 diapers, and nursed the baby 2 times (so far).
~
It's 10:25am and I still have to: take a shower, get myself dressed/ready, clean up breakfast, make birthday girl's treat, unload WalMart stuff from car, wash peed-in bedding (Houdini. I was too tired apparently to do the standard PullUp check last night. Again.) Pick up kindergartner in 2 hours, lunch, nap time, nurse baby 4 more times today, diaper changes, make dinner, get boys ready for Flash Game tonight with Dad, prepare for the arrival of the Birthday Party Girls, go to the birthday party, do the birthday party, take the Birthday Party Girls home, sleep. Oh yeah, somewhere in there I was supposed to be "laying on the bed, watching a movie and folding 6 loads of laundry"! Ah yes, the laundry. It's a good thing experience has shown it will still be there tomorrow, and the next day, and next week.

(Yes, I did make the birthday banner at the top.
Folded the socks? no. Birthday banner? yes.)
