a glass half full kinda guy

Everyday when this boy gets home from school, I hear, "I had the BEST DAY EVER!"

Ever since he was a baby, he's been very emotionally driven.  It's not just a good day, it's the BEST DAY EVER.  He can't just tell his brother, "quit bugging me," it's always, "QUIT BUGGING MEEEEEEEEE!"  ( I now understand why my mom is so deaf.)

He's also always been exceptionally thankful.

Just last week he told me, "Mom! Thanks for these new shoelaces!  They work so great!"

And a day later, I heard, "Mom! Thanks for buying white bread!"

A few months ago, I heard, "Thanks for these new glasses!"

And then I never saw them again.

The fun wore off quickly.

He puts them on each morning on the way out the door and takes them off when he gets home before he even says hello.  I'm a little unsure if he's even wearing them at school.

Because, let's face it, glasses can't even compare with shoelaces and white bread.
