the huxtables
I've been in a blogging slump lately mainly because I've been extremely boring due to "doctor's orders" to rest more. Yeah right.
I woke up in the middle of the night last night thinking I should blog about how my freshman year in college I had two fish (I think it was related to some class I was taking) that we named Heathcliff and Claire Huxtable. The Cosby Show you know. I love the Cosby Show. In my mid night delerium I decided that would be a funny post. But now that it's morning, it doesn't seem so funny.
But, then again, I can't think of anything else to write.... I can't remember what ultimately happened to those fish, although I do recall one got poured down the sink in an unfortunate "changing the water in the bowl" accident. Amidst a lot of screaming, someone stuck their hand down and rescued poor Claire. Or was it Heathcliff?
I believe for that same class I had to raise/grow/hatch/?? some fruit flies. Weird. I was paying good hard earned money for my college degree to learn about gold fish and fruit flies. I'm sure it all made sense at the time.
Ah yes, F Smith Hall, 1990. Good times.
