playgroup take II

Yesterday, I hosted Houdini's playgroup. I knew it was going to be a fun time when one of the adorable four year old boys walked in and said, "Where is my weapon?"

The "Letter of the Day" was K. So we made Kazoos. I figured it would be a hit, because, really, what four year old boy doesn't like to make noise, ahem, music? Kazoo music is especially loud and obnoxious, so obviously the boys would love it. They did love it, for 28 seconds. Then it was unanimously decided that stomping the kazoos into the remaining backyard snow piles would be way more fun!

We also glued Kidney beans to the letter K. This is how they looked. A nice random assortment of kidney beans, glued here and there.

This particular K however, is absolute proof that Houdini is his father's son.

I am considering playgroup a success*, mainly because we did NOT discuss any body parts during lunch!

* My expectations for "success" are really low, espcially when dealing with 6 four year old boys.
