Book Review

My Life In France

by Julia Child

I read this book over the holidays. Very enjoyable read as Julia Child was quite a colorful woman and she lead a very interesting life. Predictably, there is a lot of food talk, and she obviously loves french food. She referred to each dish by it's french name, making it hard to tell what exactly the dish was, but despite the language barrier, I spent a lot of the book feeling hungry. This is saying a lot, since I am an extremely picky eater. I am pretty sure I couldn't/wouldn't eat 80% of the dishes she prepared, but her food enthusiasm is quite contagious, making me think I might give some things a try. Two thumbs up for the book!
