A story about a lemon tree.

Do you remember that I bought a Meyer Lemon tree last summer?

It lived happily outside all summer long, but when the temps dropped, I brought it inside our house and set it by a sunny window.

Back in December we got five little yellow lemons off the tree and then it promptly dropped every single leaf off but six.

It looked like a tree skeleton all winter long. I was pretty sad about it because I consider my thumb to be green and this would be my second dead lemon tree.

(Technically I didn't kill my first tree, two year old Rebekah did.)

But then! Lo and behold! I noticed a few days ago that new leaves are sprouting!

I'm so happy.

I couldn't seem to hold still enough to get a non blurry picture, but you get the idea.

Yay lemons!
