vrooooom!
Yep, that's me.
Don't be jealous of my hair net!
You are probably wondering why I am wearing a hair net....
Oh, and you're probably wondering about the helmet and the Go Cart too.
For our date night we went and drove (drived? dun droved?) Go Carts.
Technically Stick was practicing for his big Go Cart race tomorrow.
You see, his company is participating in the local Corporate Games.
Ha, ha, everytime I hear the words Corporate Games I think of this:
Mr. Mom, only the funniest 80's movie ever.
We used to watch it over and over and laugh ourselves silly every time.
Remember at the end, when there's some kind of company picnic and Michael Keaton is about to beat his wife's boss?????
Ahem, where was I?
Oh yes, Corporate Games (he he).
Stick is participating on the Softball team, and the basketball team
and he qualified for the Go Cart team by racing yesterday and having one of the fastest times.
Mario Stick Andretti.
Tonight the Go Cart team went again to practice.
I tagged along in the name of date night.
Suffice it to say I had the slowest times by a long shot.
(Mainly I was trying to stay out of everyone else's way,
I don't envision dying in a fiery Go Cart crash as a pleasing way to meet my maker.)
Apparently Go Cart racing is a man thing.
With the exception of the lone female employee, there were only 2 girls there.
Me and Elizabeth Smart.
Yep, that Elizabeth.
She was there on what appeared to be a date.
Truthfully, we didn't even notice her.
I did see a blond girl there with a guy, but I didn't actually look at her face.
After they left the main room and went to go race, the employee told us it was her.
Then I patted myself on the back for my acute observation skills.
The employee also told us that Justin Bieber was there last month and he got into a fight with a (different) employee. Maybe she was just messin' with us.
Who knows?
Anyway it was fun.
Sweaty and stinky and hairnetty, but fun.
Good luck Stick!

Thoughts:
Did you choose to wear the hair net or did they make you?
Yes, go-carting is a man thing
I've seen Elizabeth Smart Twice now at our Smiths right around the corner from our home. She's very striking with her blond-BLOND hair.
