Wicked

Back in August we went and saw Wicked at the Capitol Theater.

Just for the record, the Capitol Theater is not my favorite. It's older than the hills and small. We've seen shows in San Francisco and LA, in big nice theaters, so I guess I'm a little biased about our dinky little Capitol. However, they are building a new theater for SLC which I'm sure will be a big improvement.

That being said, the show was fantastic.

Rachel said seeing it in NYC was better (ha! poor little Capitol) but I haven't seen it anywhere else, and I totally loved it.

We have the soundtrack to Wicked and I've been playing it a lot since then. I'm not sure exactly but I think I preferred the voices in the production we saw to the ones on our soundtrack. (Kristin Chenoweth/Idina Menzel)

After the show we walked over to the Gateway and then we ate dinner at Brio, which is always yummy.

We had to laugh when Bekah's kid's meal pizza arrived and it was bigger than her head.

Portion sizes are apparently large at Brio, Grandma's meal arrived in the form of a half of a chicken.

A memorable day.
