father sons/girl's night 2015

Back in May our ward Father & Sons was cancelled because of pending snow at the campsite.

Not wanting to miss their favorite weekend of the year, Stick and the boys made a Plan B.

They drove north, picked up Grandpa, and headed for Yellowstone.

We went to Yellowstone years ago in May and there was hardly any snow.

They weren't so lucky this year.

Those two brown lumps below are bears.

Despite the snow, they had a good time and all came home happy.

Meanwhile back at home we had "Girl's night" which was actually "Girl's weekend" this time.

We watched a few movies, did a little shopping and ate out quite a bit. Most of our eating out was dictated by Bekah who wanted to use the coupons she got from school because, in her words, "We never use my coupons!" (True.)

I didn't even know there was a Brick Oven so close to us. I always wondered why the school gave coupons to a restaurant in Provo. The girls liked it, but I think it was better in my memory. (I almost died from the massive amounts of garlic on my pizza. You know, death by garlic, a real and serious condition.)

Don't be fooled by this face, she loved it.

Bekah bossed insisted we have breakfast at Denny's even though we did not have a coupon. I think they should re-name it Greasy's.
