my nose feels funny

See the girl above?

She stuck not one, not two, but THREE macaroni noodles up her nose during dinner last night.

~

Stick just happened to notice she was maneuvering a noodle (what would have been the fourth noodle) upwards towards her nose.

Further inspection revealed a noodle lodged in her left nostril.

Stick pulled it out, piece by piece with tweezers.

Then, not knowing what else was up there, I helped her blow her nose onto a kleenex.

Two more whole macaroni noodles came flying out.

Dur.

At this point I'm just thankful that she has enough sense to actually be able to blow her nose.  Not many 2 years olds can do that.  Though obviously her sense taps out just before the thought, "should I or should I not shove these noodles up my nose?" gets processed.

Parenthood=not for sissies.

That is So strange. What possesses these little dears?

My friend Jess has a toddler that does the same. They have found ALL SORTS of things in her nose. It's some kind of fascination for her. So be watching that she doesn't keep on doing it.

HAA, I thought you told your children of the "ring in the nose" story.

Glad to know I am not the only one. :)

Thanks R!
