Girls Night

While the boys were in San Francisco, we girls here at home wanted to have some fun too!

So I booked us a hotel in Salt Lake City through Priceline and we headed up to the big city for a mini adventure.

We ate lunch at Cafe Rio, fulfilling a yearly Girl's Night tradition.

We checked in, changed into our swim suits and headed straight to the pool. After a few hours of swimming, we went over to City Creek for a little shopping and some dinner.

The Disney Store.

Then we went back to the hotel for some night swimming.

After our swim we warmed up at the outdoor fire pit.

Back in our room, we jumped on the bed! (A definite no no at home.) We laughed our heads off. In fact, Rebekah is still talking about it, weeks later.

We learned that jumping on the bed was fun but sleeping with Rebekah was not.

Apparently with Priceline, you don't get to pick and choose your bed options.  I was hoping for two queen beds, but we got one king size. I could have paid $10 for a roll away but didn't.  Note to self: Next time pay the dumb $10. It was frankly unbelievable how one teeny little girl took up so much space in the big ol' bed.  She slept wonderfully, Rachel and I did not.

After her great night's sleep she was up bright and early, ready to go! And she was asking if we could live at the hotel forever.

Unfortunately, we had to go home.

It was a quick get away, but we had a wonderful time together!
