April Fools
We were pretty lackluster in our "April Fools Day" efforts. Hootis did put a bunch of food coloring in the orange juice. It didn't turn the color she intended, but did enable the boys to refer to the juice as the "puke juice" instead of orange juice. So I guess we consider the day a success!
We do however, have one April Fools Day tradition. We sing the following song, and usually sing at least one round of it for Grandma. The kids all put on a silly hat/mask and rang her doorbell to sing "Christmas carol style".
I learned this song sometime in my early elementary school years and we've sung it ever since. A few years ago I scouted out all the lyrics on the internet and also found the proper tune.

I was subbing a 2nd grade class yesterday and the first graders were going around the school singing that! I had never heard of it before. Thanks for the Music & Lyrics!:) It is too cute!
