leaves & Baltic Ave.

Before the snow storm last weekend, I sent the kids out to rake leaves. They interpreted "rake leaves" as: throw leaves, kick leaves, hide in leaves, stomp leaves, wallow in leaves and put leaves in other people's hair.

Well done kids!

In other news, we had a fierce Monopoly game last night. Monopoly is serious business around here for everyone but me, since I refuse to play. (Grump.) Brick was the last kid standing and came close to beating Stick, a feat yet to be accomplished by any of the kids.
He savored his glory for a good long time, dimples flashing from all the smiling and bragging. For all I know he's still living up his moments of almost victory, a day later.

_Keep at it Brick, sooner or later you'll get him!
