pumpkin carving 2015

We cut the pumpkins out of the garden today. It's not the 100+ that we used to grow in Lindon, but it's the best we've ever done here.

All these plus about 5 more already on the porch.

Harry was feeling homicidal towards all the pumpkins.

In other Halloween happenings, I've been sort of in the mood for Halloween this year. (It doesn't happen often, but occasionally.)

Bekah was complaining that we don't have any outside Halloween decorations. There are two houses in our neighborhood that go all out and I guess we are super boring by comparison. Which I can live with, but apparently she can't.

So just to humor her and because I'm kind of in the mood, I recreated something I saw on the internet (it might have been Pinterest when I looked at it last, 2 years ago...).

(Black poster board, taped together and taped to the window. A couple of green lightbulb lights behind a hanging sheet for the spooky green glow.)

Not really an over the top outdoor decoration, but it is meant to be viewed from the outside so I'm considering myself off the hook!

A funny thing about the three eyed monster. It's not meant to have a neck, but it was so low in the window, a bush was covering it's eyes. It was either cut the bush down or add a neck. The neck seemed easier.

Happy Halloween 2015!

Cute, I think I'll do these easy decorations next year. Also, I've been wanted to do a ghost village like Dana Made it. Have you seen it? so cute.
