Lip Sync 2013

Well, it's obviously the end of the school year. The time when we have all kinds of creative programs going on at school, but no actual learning.

Thomas had his sixth grade Lip Sync competition yesterday. He was at somewhat of a disadvantage because the groups were chosen and the songs picked, on one of the days he was sick at home. When he got back to school, his friends kindly told him he could join their group and sing the "Pokemon" theme song that they had chosen.

Needless to say he wasn't that excited to do "Pokemon," but beggars can't be choosers, so he did it.

While I think things like "Lip Sync" competitions are a complete waste of time, I was happy to see Thomas do something that is totally out of his comfort zone.

He did a great job!
