it takes a library idiot
When I hear about books that might interest me, I often go to my library website and reserve them. Later when the library calls me to tell me they have the book, I go check it out.
I heard about a book called, "It Takes a Village Idiot" by Jim Mullen. Since I generally like the "city person goes to the country" genre, I decided to check it out. I went on the website and reserved the book. A few days later I finished the book I was reading, and went to my library bag for a new book, and low and behold.....there in my bag was the book, "It Takes a Village Idiot". what the?
Apparently in my fuddled brain, I had already checked the book out. Then I reserved the book, but the website told me one other person had the book. Obviously I was the person that had the book, so when I returned the book, the library was going to call me and tell me to come pick up the book that I had just returned so I could read it. Are you following me?
The moral of this story is: I am a library idiot, who liked the book called "It Takes a Village Idiot". It's a hilarious quick read, although it does have a little language. ( I will admit though, it's the language that most cracked me up)
