Miss Reb
Since Grandpa has decided to give Miss Baby Girl the nickname "Reb", that will be her blog name for now. I use all his other crazy names for my kids on my Blog so I may as well do the same for her. Even though I am now password protected, I still have a little paranoid psycho in me.
We've been driving the carpool this week. It cracks me up every morning when all the kids (5th and 6th graders, 3 boys, 1 girl) get out of the car and say, "Bye Reb!". They spend the whole drive smiling at her and marveling at her little hands.
Miss Reb almost has full control of her hands. She can grab toys and put them in her mouth. Her new trick today is beating on me while nursing, with whatever hand happens to be free. She sucks away, smiles at me while sucking and then beats me over and over. Too funny.
Houdini who is still claiming his only name is "Big Broder" is completely in love with Miss Reb. He draws pictures for her, hugs and smooches her constantly and brings her toys. This is all great, except for when she is nursing and stopping every 8 seconds to smile at her friend, "Big Broder".
Reb is getting very smart. When I take her to her room for a nap, she starts crying the second I start to put her down in her bed. She knows the system I guess. It makes me laugh every time. She immediately puts one thumb or the other (either one will do, lately) in her mouth, with the other fingers sticking in her eyes (she hasn't figured out the "tuck them under" method) and goes to sleep, usually before I leave the room.
As you can see, Big Broder is not the only one completely in love with Miss Reb.
