PJ' s & Pancakes

We can't forget our other August birthday!

Bekah turned 7 and had a "PJ's & Pancakes" birthday party.

We played "Pin the butter on the pancake."

I did face painting, which was hard due to the fact that I'm not a painter and that I had the junkiest face paint EVER purchased at WalMart.

Bekah really wanted to do "dress ups" at the party. Once we got them out, her friends enthusiastically joined in. But Bekah sat in the corner mesmerized by a new toy she had just received and didn't put on one dress up.
Judging by the picture below, I don't think her friends minded her absence.

Birthday cake at our family party, on her actual birthday.

If you look closely you can see that I apparently forgot to frost one side of the butterfly's wing.

(I am the worst cake decorator ever. I can live with it.)
