rooneyball

And last, but certainly not least, we have Rooney at his final game.

He's had a stellar season this year.

He's made it his personal goal to "steal every ball, grab every rebound, and shoot every shot."  I wonder if the other boys on his team get bored?  (I wonder if their parents get annoyed?)

*

He made 14 points in the game, but his team didn't win.  Rooney doesn't seem to really care if the team wins or not, he just wants to "be the man."  He starts running full speed at the beginning and usually plays three quarters of the game, so by the middle of the fourth quarter, he's totally out of steam.  He plays so hard it usually takes a couple of hours for him to recover.

Getting the entire family to the games early Saturday mornings takes some effort.  Sometimes a few details get overlooked.  It's a good thing Brick combs his own hair these days....

I think.

I am so impressed with all my studly basketball playing nephews and niece! I wish we could come watch......if only we weren't so house bound!
